1) Shipping
Free Shipping Threshold
- Orders $80.00 and above ship FREE via USPS Mail w/Tracking (estimated 3-4 business days) within the U.S.
Paid Expedited Options
- USPS Priority Express (estimated 1–2 business days) — additional charge.
- UPS Standard Overnight — additional charge.
Order Processing Cutoff
- Orders received by 1:00 PM Central Time (CT) on business days typically ship the same day.
- Orders received after 1:00 PM CT (or on weekends/holidays) typically ship the next business day.
- Business days = Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Tracking & Notifications
- A tracking number is sent to the email provided at checkout once your order is processed.
Carrier Timeframes
- Posted carrier timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, peak seasons, and carrier delays may affect delivery.
Quality & Sanitation (Calls)
- All duck and goose calls shipped by UpperDuck are re-tested and re-sanitized before leaving our shop.
2) Cancelled Orders
- Effective October 1, 2019: a 3% restocking fee is deducted from all cancelled orders, including orders that have not shipped.
- If you need to cancel, email von@upperduck.com as soon as possible; we’ll confirm whether your order can be intercepted prior to shipment.
- UpperDuck reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion, including but not limited to suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory errors, or policy violations. If this occurs, customers will be notified and refunded promptly.
3) Exchanges (Manufacturer Defects Only)
In alignment with hygiene best practices (including CDC recommendations), UpperDuck accepts exchanges only for:
- Manufacturer defects or items defective in function
- Natural material defects (e.g., wood splitting)
- Items must be postmarked within 3 business days of receipt of your purchase.
How to Request a Defective-Item Exchange
- Email von@upperduck.com to let us know you are requesting an exchange for a defect.
- Include in the box:
- A copy of your original receipt
- A brief note explaining the defect and what item you would like as an exchange
- Ship with a trackable, insured service.
- UpperDuck cannot issue exchanges on packages lost in transit without proof of tracking.
Defective-Item Exchange Processing & Fees
- Typical turnaround time for exchanges is about 2 business days after we receive your item.
- A $8.00 shipping & handling fee applies to send the replacement item.
Note: If your requested exchange item is unavailable, we will contact you with comparable options.

UpperDuck Knife Purchase Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a knife from UpperDuck, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (21 where required) and that you understand and will comply with all federal, state, local, and international laws regarding knife ownership and use.
Age Restrictions
- Must be 18+ to purchase; 21+ may apply in certain regions.
- By ordering, you certify you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
Laws & Responsibility
- It is your responsibility to know and follow all applicable knife laws.
- UpperDuck is not liable for legal issues resulting from your purchase.

Sales Limitations
- UpperDuck reserves the right to limit, cancel, or refuse orders at its sole discretion.
Shipping & Risk of Loss
- All items are sold under a shipment contract: risk of loss transfers to you once shipped.
- International buyers assume all risk of customs seizures, delays, duties, and fees. UpperDuck does not falsify customs documents.
Safety & Due Care
- Knives must be handled with caution and responsibility.
- Keep knives out of reach of children.
- UpperDuck is not responsible for misuse of products.
Indemnification
By purchasing, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless UpperDuck from claims, damages, or costs arising from misuse, violations of law, or breach of these terms.
Governing Law
- Purchases are governed by Missouri law.
- Legal claims must be filed in St. Louis County, MO, or U.S. District Court, within one year of cause.
